No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament
The tournament venue collects a $5 fee from each player and you recieve a drink chip in return!
We will run a minimum of two games a night, with the winner earning a spot in our final tournament. There is NO cash involved. The chips do NOT have any cash value. The dealer will present an opportunity to “tip” at the beginning of each game (they work on tips alone!) Otherwise, please keep all cash off the table. Anyone suspected of gambling will forfeit their chips and be asked to leave.
NO CHEATING! This includes passing chips to other players, attempting to pull back chips that are already involved in a hand, etc. First offense, your chips will be forfeited for the night. Second offense, you will no longer be allowed to participate in the session.
The dealer has FINAL say. If you do not understand the way a hand is played out, the outcome or you have concerns, please ask the dealer directly to explain.
This is a friendly (and competitive!) game in a fun atmosphere. Please don’t ruin it for others with your bad sportsmanship, foul language or disrespect for others. Thank you!
We run a tournament style poker game where everyone begins with 2000 in chips. You can earn extra chips during the game for supporting the venue the following ways:
Drink/Food Bonus: 100 per beer or soda
200 per mixed drink or shot
100 per $5 food/snack/cigarettes purchased
*Please refrain from interrupting the dealer in the middle of a hand to collect your bonus chips – once cards are dealt, no new chips will be given out during the hand, involved or not*
Blinds will begin at 100 and 200 at 7:30 p.m. At 8:00 p.m. (or when the last registered player is in the tournament if later), blinds will raise to 200 and 400 and the table will be closed to new players. Blinds will progress at least every 15 minutes at the discretion of the dealer.
When you win, you will be presented with a certificate. This certificate must be presented at the final tournament the last WEDNESDAY of every month at Charlies II. Additional certificates may be used at the finals to be redeemed for extra chips. Any registered player is eligible to use any person’s certificate at the final.
